Shalom!
The gospel of God's peace
I am blessed to be with you.

Welcome to Valley Central Presbyterian Church

Welcome in the name of the Lord.

Our church started in 1975,

In the grace of the Lord

To live as a disciple of the gospel and Jesus

It is a standing church.

Sharing the dream and light of the kingdom of heaven in this world

We are a church community that dreams of becoming a community.

The most noble in your life,

God's precious plan is discovered,

May it be accomplished in the name of the Lord.

About Pastor Kim Man-seop

I was born on January 13, 1970, the second son of two sons and one daughter. My family wasn't a religious one. My father even had a strong aversion to church and the church itself. My older sister was the first to attend church, and my father persecuted her. One summer, after she returned from church, he shaved her head and made her into a Buddhist nun. He thought she would stop going to church. But my sister, instead, took me to church. That was the catalyst for my first church visit.

Then, during my first year of high school, I accepted Jesus at a retreat. I went to a retreat at Yeomgok Church, and during the program called "The Way of Christ's Suffering," all the students there accepted Jesus. The seven words of Jesus, spoken virtually as He was whipped and crucified, tore at my heart. One teacher's voice told me that all of this was because of my sins, and I burst into tears. The question, "Lord, you died to save a sinner like me, what should I do?" was a natural one. Someone led us to offer a prayer of acceptance. That night, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Lord, as the God who died and rose again to save me.

After that, Jesus called me to be His servant. He led me to Australia, then to the United States, allowing me to experience many churches and various ministries, learning and training me that loving the saints is also loving Jesus. After completing my M.Div. in the United States, I planned to return to Australia, but the Lord led me to pastor in the United States. He led me to meet my wife, have a family, serve several churches, and anticipate what God is doing. He has filled me with the abundance and grace of God, which I cannot help but confess as His grace at every moment. I earnestly pray that I may come to know more about the abundant grace and divine mercy of Jesus Christ, now and in the future.
